Zacapa Centenario was created in 1976 to celebrate the hundredth anniversary of the foundation of Zacapa, a town in eastern Guatemala. It was the result of the blending, stabilization and maturing processes of long-aged rums by doctor and chemist named Alejandro Burgaleta. Ron Zacapa is distinctive in that it is aged in a facility at an altitude with natural coolness which avoids evaporation resulting in a usually smooth product.

Nectar Dulce is an 8-year-old sherry made 100% from Pedro Ximenez. It shows an intense ebony color with iodine tones and intense legs due to the high sugar content. On the nose rich aromas of fruit such as raisins, figs and dates accompanied by honey, syrup and fruit preserve. On the palate velvety and smooth with good acidity which alleviates the sweetness. Centenario 25 is a blend of rums aged in white American oak for up to 25 years in a traditional solera system. This rum has a dynamic and earthy flavor profile highlighting ginger root, ginger snaps, pressed green apple, eucalyptus oil, hints of camphor, menthol and herbaceous lemongrass. The finish shows Bartlett pears in syrup, crème de cassis, jasmine green tea and a balanced tannic cask presence. Superb neat or with spring water.
